Abuse Clues from a Child

Abuse Clues from a Child

I screamed and cried
you saw me didn't you?
I left you clues
so you could help me

I left out the bloody things
I let a bruise show
I became deathly quiet at important odd times
I begged not to be left alone

I tried to tell you
showing you the best I could
I didn't know how to say it
But I knew I needed help
